We may collect information you provide directly, such as your name, email address, support requests, business inquiries, and messages sent through contact forms.

For apps distributed through the Apple App Store or Google Play, this Privacy Policy applies to the app, related support channels, and any app-specific privacy details disclosed on the applicable store listing, inside the app, or in required platform privacy disclosures.

We may also collect basic technical information such as device type, browser type, pages visited, referring pages, and general usage data to help improve our products and services.

Photo Contests

This section applies to the photo contests we run on any of our contest websites and brands. Each contest also has its own Official Rules, which explain who can enter, how winners are chosen and the license you grant when you enter. If the Official Rules and this section differ for a contest, the Official Rules apply to that contest.

What we collect

• When you enter: your name, email address, country (and US state), your photo or video, and anything you choose to add, such as a title, caption, Instagram handle or what you are wearing. We also record that you accepted the rules and confirmed your age and consent.
• When you vote: your email address and the entries you vote for.
• To keep voting fair: the IP address and approximate country of each entry and vote, a random device identifier stored in a cookie, the time, and the link that brought you to the contest.
• If you win: the identity check described in the Official Rules (for example a short live video or a photo holding a dated note) and the details needed to deliver your prize.
• If you answer a quick poll in one of our emails: your answer, such as which contest you would like next.

How we use it

• To run the contest: confirm your email, review entries, count votes, choose and verify winners, and deliver prizes.
• To show approved entries publicly on the contest site with your first name and last initial (and your Instagram handle if you gave it), and to share them as the Official Rules allow.
• To detect and remove fake, automated or duplicate votes and entries that break the rules.
• To send the contest emails you need, such as confirmation links, entry status updates and vote reports for entrants (which you can turn off).
• To send marketing emails, such as contest highlights and new contests, only if you opted in. Your poll answers help us choose which contests and offers to send you. Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link.

Entries are reviewed against the contest rules, before or after they appear publicly depending on the contest. We use automated tools, including AI services, to help with this review (for example to spot nudity or AI-generated images). If your entry is removed and you think it was a mistake, email privacy@llewellynmedia.com and a person will look at it again.

Purchases

Products sold alongside our contests are sold through a third-party checkout provider. Payment details go to that provider and its payment processors, not to us. We receive your name, email address and what you bought so we can deliver your order.

Cookies

Contest sites use cookies to keep you signed in after you confirm your email and to hold a random device identifier that helps us keep voting fair. These cookies expire after a limited time.

Sharing

Approved entries are public. Beyond that, we share contest information only with service providers that help us run the contests (hosting, databases, email delivery, checkout and automated review), and when required by law. We do not sell personal information.

Retention

We keep entries and vote records while a contest runs and for as long as we need them afterwards to deal with prize claims, disputes and legal obligations. Winner records may be kept longer where the law requires it.

Your choices

• Unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time with the link in any email.
• Ask us to remove your entry, or to access or delete your information, by emailing privacy@llewellynmedia.com. Removing an entry during a contest also withdraws it from the contest.
• If someone entered a photo of you without your permission, email privacy@llewellynmedia.com and we will take it down.

Contests are for adults 18 and over. If we learn that an entry shows someone under 18, we remove it and delete the related information.

Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised date.
